PISTONS
The applications of our unique fine-grain structure composite with excellent mechanical properties enables TEIKIN to attain a perfect balance of weight and strength in all our pistons. Such qualities are imperative to sustain high inertia, thermal load and intense pressure as demanded by today's high engine performance requirements. Ring grooves are armored with metallurgically bonded inserts and cooling galleries embedded inside the pistons' crown. Surfaces are anodized and layered with self-lubricating coatings for protection.

PISTONS RINGS
Piston rings are produced to a very strict standard by employing perfectly composed micro-structured material. TEIKIN technology provides a precise geometrical fit of the working surfaces of rings to the piston and liner or block, enabling the components to perform in synchronized harmony, thus allowing engines to attain their optimum output.

PISTONS PINS
To enable them to withstand heavy cyclic load, piston pins are manufactured from distinctive high quality steel alloys. They are heat-treated with the latest technology and equipment, allowing exact surface hardness while maintaining a softer core.

CYLINDER LINERS
In an environment of extreme pressure and temperature that exist in the latest high performance turbo diesel engine, only high-density homogeneous structure of material results in an excellent performance of liners. The micro relief on the working surface of the cylinder sleeve is smoothened through meticulous honing method, assuring precise mating surface for piston and its rings. The even relief prolongs the service life of the overall engine because it reduces oil consumption and minimizes frictional force by creating a lesser blow-by.
